Power - Damage delivered with either gun or melee weapon
Speed - How quickly you can attack. If you have 5 speed and your opponent has 10 speed, he would attack twice as fast as you
Toughness - How many hitpoints your mech has
Sensors - How accurate you are with delivering a hit (used with weapon skill)
Cpu Speed - To be announced
Criticals - The percentage chance you have to deliver double damage (critical attack)
Swords - How effective you are using the sword
Shields - How skilled you are using the mech metal shield
Guns - How skilled you are using gun weaponry
Powershot - How much damage is converted from your shields to powershot
Evade - The percentage chance you have to successfully evade your opponent
Counter - The percentage chance you have to deliver an extra counterattack
Combat is the main focus of the game of Armored Legion. To engage an opponent in combat, simple left click them with your mouse. You will notice that you have two options Attack and Examine. Examining the opponent gives you a chance to see your chance of successfully defeating your opponent. Examine is colored coded based on difficulty. The color code is as follows
Green - The enemy is harmless - 5 or more levels lower
Blue - Lower threat - more than 2 levels lower
White - Average threat - Same level
Yellow - Caution - enemy is 1-2 levels higher
Orange - Dangerous - enemy is 4 levels higher than you
Red - Very Dangerous - 6 levels higher, bring some friends!
Purple - Certain death - 6 or more levels higher than you
For example, if you are level 5, and you see an enemy that Examines as Blue, chances are this enemy is a lower level than you and thus your chance of victory is improved.
When you engage an enemy and select the Attack option, you will immediately enter the battlefield. You will have 4 options to choose from, be careful as the choices you choose will deciede if you win or lose!
The four attack options are:
Attack - Normal attack with your weapon
Evade Left - This option based on either if your opponent attacks you from the left or right and your evade skill. If you choose the right choice, you will dodge your enemies attack and deliver a counterattack as well.
Evade Right - This option based on either if your opponent attacks you from the left or right and your evade skill. If you choose the right choice, you will dodge your enemies attack and deliver a counterattack as well.
Flee - Ok you've had enough! If you are about to die, you can choose to flee the battlefield.
If you succeed in battle, you will receive experience points , credits and potentially materials recovered from your enemies wreckage.
Leveling is achieved when you reach the amount of experience required per level. To gain one level, you must gain 1000 experience points. You can receive experience points from defeating enemies throughout the galaxy. When you level, you can return to the Hangar and distribute your skill points however you want.
Caution: One you distribute and accept the points, you cannot change the points you assigned!
The Hangar is where pilots can purchase, upgrade, repair and sell parts for your mech. If you purchase an item, you have to click the Equip button to assign that new item onto your mech!
